SELF PORTRAIT PROJECT

For my self portrait project,  I decided to use my chalkboard wall in my room.
I wrote the lyrics  to John Lennon's "imagine" over the wall. I then shined a light on one side of the
board towards my face. I used a tri-pod and a timer on the camera to take the pictures. It was fun adjusting
the tri-pod to different angles to try and find where the light would look best. Obviously, some angles work better than others.
This lighting is my favorite. I like how to right of the photo is completely black.

I like the profile in this one.

Just trying out different expressions.

In this photo, I tried focussing on the word "peace" that was in the lyrics. It blurred out my face and the foreground, making it look unintentional, but I still like it.
